Sacred HEart Children’s Center
Serving the needs of Harrison County children has always been the purpose of Sacred Heart Children’s Center, Inc. Beginning as a Catholic orphanage in the early twentieth century, it evolved into a public day care center in the 1970s. By early 1980s, it became a volunteer-directed, private foundation accepting funds and granting requests to benefit the children of Harrison County.
